That means 97 cents of every dollar goes to efficient heating. HSPF stands for Heating Seasonal Performance Factor and is a measurement of a heat pump's heating efficiency. There is no governmental minimum efficiency level for HSPF.
SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio and is a measurement of the efficiency of cooling products. The U.S. government’s minimum efficiency level is 13.0, but Armstrong Air cooling products exceed 18.0 SEER.
